My Norwegian Easter Part III

After Thor Gunnar, Ann Kristin and the kids left, we enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon -- clear and pleasant weather.  People we met exclaimed that it was like a summer day.  We did some work in the garden and some chores around the house.  Tove's sister-in-law, Inger, dropped by and had coffee with us. Gunnar, Tove's brother was back in Trondheim so that their mother would not be alone during Easter.

Easter Sunday began as a beautiful day, too.  We decided to take our "Sunday Walk".  First we visited cousin Ulf who invited us for coffee.  It was so nice out that we enjoyed coffee on his deck.  As we were enjoying the sunny day, we heard rustling and the "cack-cack-cack" of a pair of grouses!  They came very close to Ulf's house -- he says they come around all of the time.  Tove took a couple of pictures.

After coffee we headed out over the rocky hills toward the sea.  During our hike we watched the weather change before our eyes:  The weather front brought wind, rain and a big drop in the temperature:

It started to rain.  We went back to the house and cooked a delicious fish dinner.  Monday we took the first ferry back and had a leisurely drive in good weather.  We didn't hit holiday traffic until the last couple of miles.
