I'm done for awhile. My shoulder has worsened. The physical therapist and orthopedic surgeon have diagnosed bursitis, and adhesive capsulitis caused by bone spurs. I have arthroscopic surgery scheduled for September 4. Meanwhile, it hurts too much to use the PC. So we'll update in the Fall.
My orthopedist is Carlos Rivero Siri. He lives in Stockholm but does shoulder surgeries in Stockholm, Oslo and Trondheim. He has done over 4000 shoulder surgeries so I feel like I'm in good hands.

Pentecost
Tove and I returned to Aursøyan (The Aursøy Islands) for the combined Constitution Day-Pentecost long weekend. This year, Pentecost fell on Sunday May 19. May 17 is the holiday equivalent to our 4th of July and this year it fell on Friday. Just as they do with the day after Christmas and with Easter Monday, Norwegians take the Monday after Pentecost off, thus, a 4 day weekend.
This time, we left our car in the parking lot at Dyrøy and took backpacks and rolling luggage with us for the mile walk from Mausundvær ferry quay to Nordhaugen, Lille Aursøy.
The weather was delightful the first day we arrived. We took what looked like an old wooden pallet top that was in the basement and used it as a make-shift patio for al fresco coffee on the north side of the house.
During our hike around the island we cam across a wild goose nest.
Saturday and Sunday were COLD! Like 50 degrees! Meanwhile, Trondheim experienced a heatwave with temps in the 80s! All weekend we received text messages from friends and family describing the delightful weekend weather. Notwithstanding the chilly weather it was a beautiful weekend on the island.
